David L. Petitjean grew up in the Southeast Michigan/Northwest Ohio area. David has been practicing law for over twenty years in State Government and private practice.
David attended both The Ohio State University College of Law and Capital University Law School, graduating from Capital University Law School cum laude in February, 1988. David is admitted to the bar in the States of Ohio and Michigan, as well as before the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the Eastern District Court for the State of Michigan.
He has extensive experience in business and commercial litigation, including trademark and copyright infringement matters, as well as employment, discrimination, government-related, personal injury, and complex litigation matters. He has and continues to represent both businesses and individuals.
David is a member of the American, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Columbus and Toledo Bar Associations. He also is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a Professional Legal Fraternity and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a Professional Music Fraternity.
David is also involved locally and is a member of the Old West End Festival Committee and is active in two churches and the Reform Jewish Temple in Sylvania. He is married to an artist, Jane Petitjean and they have six children between them.
